Quick reminder! St-Patricks day is this weekend!

Still got that shamrock-shaped pair of sunglasses?

One of New York’s oldest and biggest parades is taking place this weekend can you guess what it is?

That’s right! It’s St-Patricks Day Parade on March 16th! Starting at 11 am, everyone in New York comes out for the annual street party that kicks off on 44th Street and goes all the way up to 5th Avenue, passing St. Patrick’s Cathedral!

For obvious reasons, wearing green is highly recommend, and adds a bit more pep to the parade that draws about 250, 000 marchers and two million spectators every year!

Treat yourself to a day of  jovial Irish culture with a lineup of marching bands, bagpipers, Irish dancers and soooo much more!

Plus, it’s St-Patrick’s DAY! So when the parade is over, don’t go home yet! Join in on the fun at one of New York’s famous Irish Pub for a good pint of green beer and shamrocks!

Or, take the ‘’Irish Outsiders’’ tour at the Lower East Side’s Tenement Museum to learn more on the powerful stories of Irish immigrants or head over the Merchant House Museum for a visit of an Irish immigrant’s preserved 19th-century home!

Not interested in museums? That’s fine, the Irish arts Center in Midtown offers dance performances, exhibitions and educational classes for the whole family!

So dig out that green shirt of yours, get yourself a nice pair of shamrock sunglasses and join the fun this Saturday!
