1. How can we reserve a trip with Frenzy Tours?

After having chosen your preferred date and destination, the best way to reserve is by calling us at 514-285-777 to learn about the availability of the trip. Afterwards, we will take all the necessary information for your reservation, including the complete payment (credit card, interac, check, or cash) and we will email or fax you your confirmation with a registration form. 5 days before your departure, Frenzy Tours will call you to confirm your trip and your bus number.

2. Why do I need to fill out a registration form?

A registration form must be completed and signed by each person on the trip and given to your tour guide at the moment you board the bus.This form explains the terms and conditions of the trip, and it will be used by the accompanying guide in case of an emergency.

3. What is the Frenzy Tours "Free Time" Option?

This package is designed for anyone who only wants to visit New York without having the option to do the sightseeing tours. You are free to shop and explore this great city on your own. Please deduct 20$ per person per package on any trip to New York Frenzy Tours has to offer. It includes the same features as any other New York tour except for the following items:

* Orientation Bus Tour of New York City with local guide (4 hours)
* Orientation walking tour of Time Square upon arrival with local guide (90 min)
* Ferry ride which passes in front of the Statue of Liberty

This option is not available on the New York shopping package since there is no tour scheduled.

4. Is there indoor parking at the bus pick-up location?

Yes, Frenzy Tours has negotiated with Place Alexis Nihon parking,. The daily rate for indoor parking will be 5$ per day per vehicle on weekdays and weekends. Please present your receipt from Frenzy Tours at the time of payment to the parking attendant to receive the discounted rate. Please use the Boul. Maisonneuve parking entrance. 5. How much time in advance must I present myself at the pick-up location before the departure?

Always present yourself at least 15 minutes before your departure. To know the exact address of the pick up location, please visit the contact us page on our web site.

6. For a Canadian Citizen, what are the necessary documents required to enter the United States?

Until May 31st 2009, if you are travelling to the United States by land, American law requires that you present:

1. A valid piece of identity with a picture, from a government source (for example: a driver license or Medicare card) AND a birth certificate( or citizenship card)

OR

2. A valid Canadian passport

OR

3. For someone who is 18 years or younger, a birth certificate or a valid Canadian passport

*As of June 1st 2009, a valid passport will be necessary to enter the United States for all.

7. For a non-Canadian citizen, what are the necessary documents required to enter the United States?

The United States does not have the same entry requirements for all other countries. It is therefore recommended to contact the American customs agency at 518-298-8346 in order to get more information on specific requirements.

8. What is required for someone who is under the age 18 to travel with Frenzy Tours?

Frenzy Tours requires that if you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a responsible adult, or provide a written authorization from a parent or guardian.

9. While in New York, am I obliged to follow the group?

You do not have to follow the group, however, if you wish to leave the group, you are asked to advise your accompanying guide. We also ask that everyone needs to return with the group the first night, in order to check-in and place your luggage in your respective rooms.

10. Can I go watch a show on Broadway?

If you would like to see a Broadway show, you have two options.

1. You can buy your tickets online before leaving Montreal.

Or

2. You can present yourself at TKTS on Time Square from 3h00pm onwards, in order to purchase your tickets at a reduce price. (However, it is worth noting that during the weekend, the wait could be long).

11. Can I stay in Manhattan later than the rest of the group?

Absolutely. There is a shuttle bus (NJ Transit) from Port Authority (New York) that takes you to the hotel. It takes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes and the cost is about $3.00US. Your accompanying guide will distribute a schedule of the public bus.

12. What is my spending limit in the United States?

After an absence of 48 hours or more from Canada, you are entitled to $ 400.00 CAN per personnel (including certain Tobacco and Alcohol products). The purchased merchandise must be in your possession at the time of your arrival to Canada. Depending on the minimum age established by the province or territory you are entering in Canada, you should include the following limits on alcoholic beverages and tobacco products in your personal exemption amount: 1.5 liters (53 ounces) of wine, Or 1.14 liters (40 ounces) of hard liquor or a total of 1.14 liters (40 ounces) of wine and hard liquor or 24 bottles or cans of 355 ml. (12 ounces) of beer or ale (maximum 8.5 liters). As for tobacco products, you can bring back up to 200 cigarettes, or 50 cigars or cigarillos or 200 grams (7 ounces) of fabricated tobacco or 200 tobacco sticks.

13. Can the itinerary change without notice?

These packages have been prepared months in advance. Frenzy Tours reserves the right to change the schedule, hotel or price without prior notice. The order of the visits and the activities can change, however the basic program will always be respected. Border delay, weather, traffic can also influence the outcome of the package.

14. Why are certain trips more expensive on certain dates?

For certain dates (Easter, Victoria Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve) here is a high demand so therefore the hotels and bus companies ask for a supplement which obliges us to raise our prices.

15. Do I need to buy travel insurance?

Medical expenses are different in every province and in every country. Quebec medical insurance does not cover in full medical expenses outside of the province. That is why Frenzy tours offer the possibility to acquire this insurance by simply calling us.

16. What is your reimbursement/cancellation policy?

If you cancel your trip:

45 days prior to departure:
We reimburse (100%) in full your trip

Between 44 and 21 days prior to departure:
We charge a penalty of 100$ per person per trip

Between 20 days and the day of departure:
You are not entitled to any reimbursement (unless you have travel insurance) however you can replace the names of the passengers by advising Frenzy Tours at least 48 hours before departure
