Yes! There ARE interesting things to do in Boston during winter time!
Want to hear something nice?
This weekend, Boston is expecting sunny days and a high of 8 degrees... Can you imagine how pleasant being outdoors must be in these conditions? Well, I can... That’s why I concocted a list of activities you could enjoy in Boston this weekend if you happen to be in the neighborhood!
- The Skywalk Observatory offers you a 360-degree view of the city. At the top of the Prudential Center, 750 feet above Boston, resides an experience of pure beauty where people can bring their selfie stick and take pictures of them with a frozen Charles River in the background!
- Gore Place offers you the opportunity to rent a pair of snowshoes and explore the surroundings of the 50 acres estate. Bring your best pal or go solo; this is a great way to burn those leftover calories from the holidays!
- If you are a sucker for cross-country skiing then make sure you reserve a day this weekend to pass by the Blue Hills Reservation! 100 miles of trails are available for people to adventure themselves in the snowy forest outside of the city. It’s relaxing, it works out your endurance and the fresh-air will detox your lungs guaranteed!
- Last but not least, you know that we at Frenzy love a good afternoon of ice-skating, so I can’t end this blog without mentioning the many ice-skating rinks available in Boston! Want to be outdoors? Then we recommend the Frog Pond, but if you’d rather be indoors, then the Warrior Ice Arena is where to go!
That’s all I have for now, but hey! If you know of any activities that I left out, make sure you let us know!
