Destination; Ontario and beyond!
As you all know, we have departures for our famous trips to Niagara Falls, Toronto and the Thousand Islands. Therefore as a courtesy, and for your best interest, we here at Frenzy thought it would be a good idea to break down the activities we include in this lovely weekend trip!
All in all, over the course of three days, we make 4 important stops. Here they are:
1. Allan Garden Conservatory
The Allan Garden conservatory in Toronto is a must-see attraction, for it is over 100 years old! Donated by a local philanthropist a long time ago, this urban paradise features 6 greenhouses filled with orchids, bromeliads, begonia and much more tropical and exotics plants that you have access to, FOR FREE! It also has a playground for kids and two dog parks!
2. Pillitteri Estate Winery
This family-owned Winery has been serving some of the finest wines in the region of Ontario since 1993. In their 100 acre vineyard, this family has mastered the art of viticulture and winemaking that has earned them almost 600 wine awards from around the world. When you’re there make sure you try there renowned ice-wine production (Don’t worry about the bill, it’s on us!)!
3. Niagara on the lake
Once you step foot in this village, it’s really hard to find a reason to leave. Locals call it the ‘’Niagara-on-the-Lake Effect’’! This heritage district, charming and wholesome, is made for long walks along the water or among their authentic vintage shops colored by shrubs of flowers and ... yeah you will cross a couple of HORSES!
4. Thousand islands
A cruise of the Thousand Islands is probably the most relaxing sightseeing activity you could do in the region of Ontario. Located between the edge of New York State and Southeastern Ontario, this once patrolled-by-pirates region (yeah you read that correctly) is fully packed with islands of different size that each hold a rich history! Plus, don’t even get me started on the picturesque views!
