Zagat: the unbeatable guide to discovering New York City!

Whether you’re interested in cuisine, shopping or outings, you’ll be sure to find countless suggestions.

The famous Zagat guide appeared in 1979, presenting a unique way of classifying New York’s restaurants based on a survey of their readers. Since then, this guide hasn’t settled for evaluating only the best dinner spots, expanding its reviews to include stores and attractions, to name a few. Zagat is now available free on Google (by connecting through Google+) who purchased the brand in 2011.  Interested in a free wine tasting in Greenwich Village?  Look no further than Le Dû’s Wines on Saturdays, the best wine merchant in New York City, according to Zagat. Want a stunning 360 degree view from a rooftop terrace? SoHo’s Mondrian Hotel offers the best (but you must reserve a spot!). This year, Montrealers can finally discover street food, but what about New York’s famed street food? The Zagat blog features the eight best food trucks in the City: http://blog.zagat.com/2012/08/new-yorks-8-best-food-trucks.html
