No city in the world can compete with NYC’s art scene, especially not with its wide range of museums.

Here is Frenzy's top 5 museum in Manhattan:

The Metropolitan Museum of Art
A Classic but a must, this iconic art institution first opened its doors on Central Park in 1880 and is now home to thousands of prehistoric piece of art as much as contemporary works. Not only that, but under that same roof you’ll also find million of artifacts from all around the world!

The Whitney Museum of American Art
Devoted to art, this museum presents a diversity of twentieth-century and contemporary American art. Oh! And they also loveeee exhibiting work from living artist which a plus if you ask me!  May I also add that they are located at the foot of the High Line, so you can enjoy a nice stroll after a day of intense art history!

The Museum of Moving Image

It’s a media museum right in Astoria that houses an educational collection  on the art, history, technique and technology of film, television and digital media. For movie fanatics this museum will reinforce your love for cinema even more!

The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum

Since 1982, on Pier 86, there has been a floating museum called The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space museum. This flight deck is home to a stunning collection of military aircraft that also features the space shuttle Enterprise and a British Airways Concorde!

The museum of the American Gangster

Like, I said, New York has a museum for every obsession and if you’re fixation happens to be on American Gangsters... Then you’ll be happy to learn that in the East Village, there is the Museum of the American Gangster! It is a two room museum that used to be one of Manhattan’s most notorious speakeasies and in there you will learn all about America’s dark prohibition period starting by one of its most scandalous figures, Al Capone!
